I help you transform your experience of pain, illness, and worry over health into a more meaningful life.

I have experience working with individuals with chronic and acute medical conditions, chronic pain, and health-related anxiety. I have previously worked in hospital and primary care settings in New York City and Santa Barbara, CA.

When receiving a new medical diagnosis, a variety of reactions are common: disbelief, fear, vulnerability, sadness, regret, or anger. Therapy can be useful in making sense of a changing health situation and adapting to new treatments or limitations, as well as living with chronic and challenging medical conditions.

With regards to chronic pain, I am trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy, an evidence-based cognitive and behavioral therapy for idiopathic or neuroplastic pain (chronic pain without a clear structural cause).
