I enjoy working with sexually- and gender-diverse individuals who are dealing with issues related to identity, belonging, internalized homophobia/ biphobia/ transphobia, finding community, building relationships, and being comfortable in their bodies.
I am particularly experienced in working with transgender, gender-non-conforming, non-binary, and gender-questioning individuals. As a staff psychologist at the University of Califoria Santa Barbara’s counseling center, I created and ran the first therapy group for transgender, GNC, and non-binary students. I am also experienced in treating other mental health issues commonly experienced by this community, such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, autism spectrum disorder or neurodivergence, and ADHD, to name just a few.
In my practice I provide psychological evaluations and letters for gender-affirming surgery for adults 18 and older. This service is complimentary to my ongoing psychotherapy patients.
Please contact me to learn more about stand-alone evaluations for gender-affirming surgery for individuals who are not seeking psychotherapy.
I help LGBTQ+ folks feel more comfortable in their bodies and in the world.
